School of Business and Law (SBL)
Edith Cowan University,
Joondalup, Western Australia
This internship involved researching and analysing requirements to recommend a scalable digital curriculum mapping application for the School of Business and Law. It used business process improvement methods to shift from a manual SharePoint system, providing data-driven recommendations, templates, and content to support project delivery and ongoing improvement.

April 2019 – May 2023
International Distribution Company Bangladesh PLC.
Dhaka, Bangladesh
I held the position of HR leader for a substantial Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) distribution network, overseeing manpower planning, performance management, HR Information Systems (HRIS), compensation, and career development.
Among my key contributions were digitising over 3,500 employee records, implementing a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) that decreased administrative effort by 30%, and assisting in the launch of “Durbeen,” an expense-tracking application that resulted in approximately 8% savings in monthly operational costs.
I was recognised as a Promising Young Leader for assisting more than 1,500 employees during COVID and overseeing health and safety, as well as large-budget meetings, across various sites.
I also received the Best Support Function award for assisting in developing the HR department and implementing group insurance for over 350 staff members.

July 2018 – February 2019
Meghna Group of Industries (MGI)
Dhaka, Bangladesh
At MGI, I was responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, overseeing performance management processes, and managing talent systems during a period characterised by rapid organisational growth.
I aided in implementing manpower planning across 15 operations, developed organisational charts for new business units, and collaboratively established an ERP-based online performance appraisal system spanning 39 business units. Additionally, I conducted training sessions for over 30 cohorts on both soft skills and technical competencies, while concurrently supporting daily HR functions.

October 2017 – June 2018
US Bangla Footwear Limited (Brand: Vibrant)
Dhaka, Bangladesh
I assisted with recruitment, compensation, and workforce processes for a expanding manufacturing unit.
I assisted in establishing a small HR team from inception and implemented structured systems that resulted in a 30% increase in retention and a 20% enhancement in team productivity.
I also achieved approximately a 7% reduction in monthly operating expenses through the organisation of shift-based warehouse operations.
Alongside my studies, I gained hands-on experience with some of Australia’s major brands.
These roles helped me build strong communication skills, quick problem-solving, and confidence working with modern systems and fast-paced environments.
From online order fulfilment to customer engagement, these jobs strengthened the practical skills I now bring into business analysis and systems work.
